What does the $10 entry ticket get me?
The $10 entry fee for the event allows you to enter the airport grounds, park your vehicle, and attend the Balloons Over Wadsworth event! The $10 cost is per car, not per person. You can buy tickets here!
What time does parking open on Saturday?
We will begin parking spectators at 2 p.m.
Once we buy a ticket, can we come and go from the event?
No, due to limited parking (which may be full if you try to return) and the single-use ticket barcode.
What time will the balloons launch?
Balloons will launch some time between 6;30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., depending on the day’s conditions.
Can I volunteer for a balloon crew?
Yes, we have limited availability for you to help crew a balloon. You can sign up here: I want to crew!
Can I volunteer for the event?
Yes, we have many opportunities for you to give back to the Wadsworth community with your time and energy. Get more information and sign up here: I want to volunteer!
Am I allowed to bring my pet?
We understand that this may be disappointing, but for safety reasons, pets are not allowed on the airport grounds, except for trained service dogs.
Can I buy a balloon ride?
We expect to offer tethered balloon rides on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children. Proceeds benefit the Children’s Miracle Network with a special thanks to Re/Max Oasis.
How much are helicopter rides?
Airplane and helicopter rides will begin at 2 p.m. and end at the pilot’s discretion (dusk). The cost will be around $60 per 5-minute flight per person. Rides are first come, first served at the event!
Will there be gluten-free food options?
Yes, some of our food vendors have indicated that they’ll have a few gluten-free foods available.
Can I bring my food and cooler?
Outside food is allowed, but no large coolers.
